Unlimited coverage of surgery costs
In emergency situations, your full attention is on your dog - not your finances. All health insurance plans cover the costs of operations up to an unlimited amount - i.e. there is no reimbursement limit per year.
Medical vet treatments
Reimbursement of treatment costs
Our comprehensive health insurance plans reimburse you for the costs of insured veterinary treatment, including medication or drugs. Depending on the plan, there are annual reimbursement limits. Choose the right tariff for you and your dog.
Preventative Budget
Up to € 140 annual credit for prevention
Benefit from Lassie health insurance from day 1. With us, prevention comes first. Every year, we cover a wide range of preventive measures as part of the preventive budget.
- VaccinationsTo prevent illness, we reimburse the costs of vaccinations.
- General examinationWe cover the costs of a preventive general examination at your vet.
- Worm preventionPreventive worming cures protect against illness. We reimburse this preventive treatment.
- Preventive dental care & tartar removalPreventive dental care is essential for your dog's dental health. For example, we take care of preventive tartar removal or tooth polishing.
- Flea and tick preventionWe reimburse flea and tick prophylaxis as part of the preventive care budget.
- Claw cuttingClaw trimming protects your pet from injury. We reimburse the costs as part of preventive care.
- Preventative anal sac emptyingWe reimburse preventive anal sac drainage as part of the preventive flat rate - to prevent inflammation of the anal sacs.
- Preventatie castration (only in Maxi tarif)Our Maxi tariff reimburses or subsidises the preventive castration of your pet, i.e. even if there is no medical indication.
- Chipping / tattooingWe reimburse you for the cost of uniquely identifying your pet - either by chip or tattoo - as part of the preventive care package.
- EU passportYou have a puppy and need an EU pet passport? We will cover the costs as part of the preventive budget.

All health insurance plans protect you in emergencies, whether for yourself or your pet.
300 € for animal boardingIf you have to go to hospital unplanned, we will reimburse you up to €300 per year for a boarding kennel.
500 € travel cancellation costsIf your vacation trip is canceled due to an accidental operation on your dog, we will reimburse up to €500.
Costs for euthanasiaIf there is unfortunately no prospect of your pet recovering, we will reimburse the costs of putting your pet to sleep in the context of our terms & conditions.

No waiting time for puppies
Is your puppy less than 120 days old and in perfect health? Then enjoy full insurance cover from day 1 - with no waiting period. This is what it takes to waive the waiting times:
- Download our health certificateTo waive your waiting times, we need the Lassie health certificate filled out by your vet without notes on diseases and symptoms. You can download this here.
- Have the certificate filled out by the vetThe health certificate must be issued by your attending vet within the first 10 calendar days from the start of the insurance. Please note: We cannot cover any costs for issuing the health certificate.
- Submit certificate & receive confirmationSimply submit the fully completed health certificate to us together with your first damage report to Lassie. We will check this against your invoice. Everything is done.
