Our offer for direct settlement
We offer two options to reimburse you directly as the veterinarian:
Assignment of claims to the vet in the Lassie appPolicyholders submit the veterinary invoice through the Lassie app and specify that the reimbursement will be made directly to you as the treating veterinarian.
Invoice submission directly by the vetAls behandelnder Tierarzt senden Sie uns die Rechnung(en) einfach per E-Mail zu. Nach Prüfung innerhalb von maximal 24 Stunden erfolgt die Erstattung direkt an Sie.

How it works
1. Subrogation in the Lassie app
If your customer uses the Lassie app, the invoice can be easily submitted via the app. A few questions are answered, the invoice is uploaded or photographed and you can choose whether the invoice should be reimbursed directly to you as the vet or to your own account after successful verification.

2. Invoice submission by the vet
Please send us an email at direktabrechnung@lassie.de. To ensure a quick and easy reimbursement, please follow the guidelines below.
- •Insurance detailsPlease state the policyholder's first and last name and the policy number.
- •Important documentsPlease include the invoice(s) to be reimbursed. Please also add any other documents that will help us to check the case - e.g. the animal's patient file, findings or prescriptions. All attachments should ideally be in PDF format.
- •Signed declaration of assignment

Active Insurance
How to ensure an active Lassie insurance?
There are various ways for you to check in advance whether there is active insurance for the animal undergoing treatment. Ask the pet owner to show you the Lassie app - the digital insurance card with the status ‘Active’ is visible under the Insurance tab. Alternatively, you can contact us via our chat - we will answer you personally Monday-Saturday from 8-22 hrs.

Invoice requirements
What must be on the invoice?
In order to be able to check and refund your invoice quickly and easily, please note the following requirements. This will enable us to help you quickly.
- Name & address of the policyholder
- Name, breed & age of the insured animal
- Insurance number
- Invoice Nr. & Date
- Treatment/diagnosis & treatment date
- Medication/services incl. GOT rate
- Bank details for the payout
