Reflectors for your cat

If your cat goes outdoors, or you sometimes take them out on a lead or harness, it's essential to remember to use reflectors when it's dark. Cats are small and can be difficult for others to see, so reflectors will make your cat much easier for road users and others to spot.

There are a few types of reflectors available. Collars with reflectors are common, but it's important to choose one with a safety clasp. This type of clasp will release if your cat gets caught on something, like a bush or tree, allowing them to get free.

Reflectors are not permanent and will need replacing over time. You can test them by shining a light on them from a distance in a dark room. If they aren't reflecting properly, it's time to buy new ones or a new collar with reflectors for your cat.
