What to know before visiting the vet - so your claim gets reimbursed faster

To help us process your claim as quickly as possible, please ask your veterinary clinic for the following:
  • 1. The patient record
Ask the clinic for a printout of your pet’s patient record, including documentation of the current treatment.
  • 2. Records from other clinics (if relevant)
If your pet visited multiple veterinary clinics during this treatment period, please request the relevant records from those clinics as well.
  • 3. Submit everything together
When you file your claim, upload the invoice and patient record together. Providing all documents at once helps us review your claim faster.
  • 4. If the patient record is not available
If your veterinarian cannot provide the patient record or if none exists, they can instead complete our [**Veterinarian Form**](https://barkoffice.lassie.co/documents/fragebogen.pdf). Once we have received the full documentation, **you do not need to submit it again for future claims.**

Why we may need the patient record

Sometimes we need information from previous veterinary visits to assess a claim — especially if we haven’t received your pet’s patient record before.

The patient record typically includes:

Diagnoses
Examination results
Veterinary notes
